Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program Funding Opportunity
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Office of Suicide Prevention within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is offering funding through the Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP) for Federal Fiscal Year 2027. This program aims to reduce Veteran suicide by providing grants to community-based organizations that deliver non-clinical suicide prevention services to eligible Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Services funded may include outreach, mental health screening, education, case management, and peer support, addressing a critical need for support among Veterans who are not engaged with VA services. Approximately $111.9 million is available for grants ranging from $100,000 to $750,000, with applications opening on April 6, 2026, and closing on June 12, 2026. Interested applicants can find more information on the program and application process at the SSG Fox SPGP website or contact the VA SSG Fox SPGP Team at VASSGFoxGrants@va.gov.
