Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Justice Assistance is offering a federal discretionary grant to support family-based substance use disorder treatment and recovery services for parents with substance use disorders who have minor children or are pregnant and are under correctional control. The program funds treatment and related support services delivered in jails, prisons, community-based settings, or as an alternative to incarceration, with the goal of reducing recidivism and improving reentry outcomes for parents and children. It is intended for state, local, and tribal governments and nonprofit organizations, and no cost sharing or match is required.
