Contract Opportunity Analysis

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center is pursuing a sole-source procurement to acquire a Rigaku Supermini 200 Benchtop Spectrometer for use at the Johnson Space Center. The vendor must deliver and install the high-powered, wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer system, which includes the spectrometer cabinet, a 12-position automatic sample changer, control software, a compatible PC, and an uninterruptible power supply. The requirement also encompasses remote and in-person training, a one-year service contract following the initial warranty period, and delivery to Houston, Texas, between August and September 2026. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to Cara Craft at cara.s.craft@nasa.gov by 1:00 p.m. CST on July 23, 2026, to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
