Rigaku Supermini 200

This Statement of Work outlines the procurement and installation requirements by the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) for a Rigaku Supermini 200 Benchtop Spectrometer. This high-powered, wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WD-XRF) spectrometer is needed to perform precise elemental analysis ranging from Fluorine to Uranium. The acquisition includes the spectrometer cabinet, a 200-watt air-cooled palladium target X-ray tube (with a three-year warranty), a 12-position automatic sample changer with spinning capability, and specialized crystals for varied elemental analysis. NASA/NSSC has issued a sole source procurement synopsis to acquire a Rigaku Supermini 200 from Rigaku Americas Holding, Inc. under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). NASA/NSSC will serve as the procuring center, with the equipment utilized at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). The acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial items, classified under NAICS code 334516.
