Notice of Intent to Sole source USS WARRIOR ship repair

The Department of Defense, through the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, intends to award a sole source contract to Sumitomo Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. for ship repair services on the USS WARRIOR (MCM-10) during its 5C1 availability. The contract will encompass various repairs and replacements, including limber chains, generator components, exhaust systems, electrical receptacles, communication systems, and structural repairs, with Sumitomo Heavy Industries designated as the only source capable of performing the required work efficiently and reliably.
