Fiber Coupled Spectrograph
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Institute of Standards and Technology is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a fiber-coupled spectrograph. The procurement requires a system with a back-illuminated CCD-array detector, a spectral range of 200 nm to 830 nm, a 250 µm slit, a built-in filter wheel, and two custom vacuum-compatible fiber bundles. To ensure compatibility with existing laboratory systems, the spectrograph must integrate seamlessly with Instrument Systems CAS140 series spectrometers, LabVIEW programs, and NIST-owned optical accessories. Although Instrument Systems GmbH is currently identified as the sole source via its distributor, Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc., interested parties can submit capability statements to primary contact Jennifer Lohmeier at jennifer.lohmeier@nist.gov by the deadline of August 25, 2026.
