The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, part of the Department of Defense, intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance and repair of Steris life science equipment. The work covers 16 Steris life science laboratory units and includes ongoing service support under a base year with four option years. Steris is identified as the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized service provider with proprietary service software and trained technicians for this equipment, and performance is expected in Bethesda, Maryland. This is not a request for quotes, but interested parties may submit capability statements to show that competition would be advantageous, cost-effective, and able to meet the Government’s needs.
