The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal, working with the Program Management Office Stryker Brigade Combat Team, is seeking commercial solutions for a PFAS-free Tire Fire Suppression Kit extinguisher for the Stryker Family of Vehicles. The effort is intended to replace the current system with a modern, environmentally friendly solution that preserves or exceeds operational performance. Offerors must address mandatory core features and proposed flexible features, and submissions require a written solution brief, an extinguisher drawing showing compliance with the core features, and a statement validating each flexible feature. Responses will be evaluated in phases, with selected companies potentially invited to present and then receive a Request for Commercial Solutions Proposals; the government may award up to five agreements or contracts and may require up to five prototypes delivered by December 1, 2026.
