The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Philadelphia is seeking to procure an aircraft wing assembly. The requirement is for a single unit of National Stock Number 7R-1560-016898060-QF, Reference Number 74A140001-1042, with delivery designated as FOB Origin. Because this flight-critical part requires engineering source approval, the government intends to negotiate with only the previously approved source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Unapproved alternate sources must submit comprehensive qualification data in accordance with NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support source approval procedures to be considered for future awards.
