NCI Radiation Oncology Branch Acquisition of Elekta Unity Linac System for Radiation Therapy

The National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Elekta, Inc. for the acquisition of an integrated magnetic resonance-guided linear accelerator system. This acquisition requires the delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and warranty of a system that features a 7 Megavoltage photon beam, a 160-leaf multileaf collimator, and an onboard 1.5 Tesla or greater MRI system.
