FY27 Common Missile Compartment (CMC)
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs office is seeking a sole-source contract with Lockheed Martin to provide engineering and technical support for the Common Missile Compartment effort for the Columbia-class submarine. The work covers technical and program management services for Trident II (D5LE) missile and reentry subsystem integration, along with support equipment and experimental vehicles. The planned contract is a cost-plus-fixed-fee level-of-effort and completion-term effort, requires a security clearance, and is expected to perform at Washington Navy Yard from 1 March 2027 through 28 February 2032. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation, but responses received within 15 days of publication will be considered by the government.
