CAD/PAD Thin Layer Explosives (TLX) Multiple DODICS

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island Arsenal intends to award a sole-source contract to Rockwell Collins for the procurement of Cartridge Actuated Devices and Propellant Actuated Devices (CAD/PAD) Thin Layer Explosives. The required deliverables consist of Thin Layer Explosives across forty-eight specific Department of Defense Identification Codes, including JL97, JL98, MU73, MU94, and various SS, SN, SP, JM, SQ, and SR codes. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 as a sole-source procurement because Rockwell Collins is identified as the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements.
