Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Security and Law Enforcement, has issued a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract for VA Police conducted energy devices and virtual reality training. The selected contractor, Axon Enterprise, Inc., will provide TASER 10 conducted energy weapons alongside associated bundles, cartridges, magazines, docking stations, training equipment, warranties, and accessories. A critical technical requirement is the seamless integration of this new TASER 10 equipment with the VA's existing Axon Evidence digital evidence management environment to support diagnostics, electronic activity logging, and chain-of-custody tracking. The VA intends to make this price-based award with an anticipated award date of September 30, 2026.
