The Department of Defense, through SOFWERX in collaboration with USSOCOM's Program Executive Office Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS), is hosting a Drone in a Box (DIB) Assessment Event (AE) aimed at identifying innovative production model solutions for a configurable multidomain system that integrates uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) and uncrewed ground systems (UGV). The objective of this event is to assess current capabilities and develop a modular, adaptable, and scalable Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) solution that meets the evolving needs of Warfighters, enabling rapid deployment and reconfiguration of ISR assets for dynamic mission sets. This initiative is critical for enhancing operational flexibility and situational awareness in various environments, with the event scheduled to take place in Tampa, Florida, from July 16 to July 18, 2025. Interested participants should contact Ronald Reed at ronald.e.reed.civ@socom.mil or Juanita Bell at juanita.bell.ctr@socom.mil for further details and must submit their technology proposals by June 10, 2025, to be considered for participation.
