Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, through the Air Force’s AFLCMC/WLN office, is hosting a Virtual Industry Day for the C-130H Formation Positioning System replacement program to support pre-Milestone B planning and gather industry feedback on the draft request for proposal. The event is intended to give vendors an opportunity to present their capabilities and provide input on the proposed effort, including any information the Government would need to complete the acquisition. The Government is especially interested in approaches that achieve operational compatibility with the C-130J FPS and in vendors’ relevant experience with development and integration, as well as whether advance procurement funding may be needed during EMD or Production and Deployment. The session will be held via Microsoft Teams on 16 June 2026, with one-on-one meetings to follow, and interested vendors must submit an RSVP and session request to Aaron Christy by 8 June 2026.
