Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through VHA Regional Procurement Office East and the Office of Research and Development’s Enterprise Optimization unit, is seeking information to expand Veteran access to clinical research through potential community partnerships and a future CRADA. The effort would use community partners such as retail pharmacies, community health centers, academic medical centers, and similar sites as additional study locations for Cooperative Studies Program and Million Veteran Program activities, including enrollment, follow-up, informed consent, data and specimen collection, and blood collection. Priority is given to partners with infrastructure in rural or remote areas and with locations that align with CSP Network of Dedicated Enrollment Sites across the United States, along with the ability to support secure shipment of blood specimens to approved VA or MVP facilities. This is an information-only RFI, not a solicitation, and responses are due by email to Renee Kale at renee.kale@va.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. ET on April 20, 2026.
