Contract Opportunity Analysis

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Kennedy Space Center is seeking a vendor to provide an Environmental Control System. The scope of work requires the delivery, activation, and testing of a turn-key, weather-rated BAIR air compressor enclosure system to supply clean, dry compressed air to the Environmental Control System at Launch Complex 39B. To withstand a launch-induced environment, the system must deliver a minimum flow rate of 55 lbm/min of compressed air at 70 psig, meet strict ISO purity standards, feature N+1 redundancy for critical components, and include up to four hours of on-site training. Proposals will be evaluated based on Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price, with all factors being equal in importance. Offers must be submitted to contract specialist Joshua Giraud at joshua.giraud@nasa.gov by October 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET, for a firm-fixed-price delivery deadline of February 28, 2027.
