FY26 HIHW VC and LC HVAC Repair and Replacement

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, through the Department of Commerce, is seeking a small-business contractor for HVAC repair and replacement at the Hawaiian Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center and Learning Center in Kihei, Hawaii. The work includes removing and disposing of existing equipment, installing new ducted split air conditioning systems for the Learning Center offices, IT server room, and storage room, and replacing the compressor for the upstairs Visitor Center offices. The project calls for new ductwork in the storage room, refrigerant recovery and system testing, sand-intrusion mitigation, OSHA-compliant work practices, proper ventilation, and minimal disruption to facility operations, with technicians escorted by site staff.
