FY25 Fire & Emergency Services PPE Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair

The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for contractor-provided advanced cleaning and inspection services for personal protective equipment (PPE) to support the Marine Corps Installations West (MCIW) Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) across various locations, including Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and others. The primary objective is to ensure the operational readiness and safety of F&ES personnel by adhering to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and manufacturer standards. The contractor will perform semi-annual services on approximately 680 complete PPE sets, maintaining a database for PPE status. Key tasks include advanced cleaning, inspection, and repair services, with stringent guidelines on materials, safety, and waste disposal. The contractor is responsible for accountability, service documentation, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations while the government will facilitate access to work sites and oversee the project through a designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
