The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Prisons is seeking information from qualified providers for an anticipated Residential Reentry Center and Home Confinement requirement in Raleigh, North Carolina. The work would support community-based correctional services for male and female offenders, including 34 male beds, 10 female beds, and an estimated 55 home-confinement placements within 200 miles of the facility. The statement of work emphasizes 24/7 staffing, qualified key personnel, training, facility and security standards, medical services, reporting and emergency procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements as well as BOP policy, PREA, and Drug-Free Workplace rules. The RFI also asks respondents to address experience, socio-economic status, pricing methodology, and any local zoning, transportation, or environmental constraints, with responses due May 28, 2026, to inform a future solicitation.
