Sample Rotation System

The Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Sample Rotation System. The contractor will be required to deliver one air-bearing sample rotation stage capable of continuous 360-degree rotation along with all necessary cabling, control hardware, and integrated control software. Key technical requirements include an axial working load capacity greater than 30 kg, a central clear aperture of at least 20 mm, a maximum rotation speed exceeding 1000 RPM, and 10-meter cables to allow the control box to be positioned outside of a radiation area.
