Description

Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking support for the Western Hemisphere Information Sharing Initiative at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. The initiative is crucial for providing battlespace mission awareness to USSOUTHCOM via the Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP). The service/item being procured is operational and technical services for the Air Operations Center (AOC) weapon system, which is the senior Command and Control (C2) element of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) and the focal point for C2 of air and space forces during AF and combined/joint operations. The 612th Air Operations Center (612 AOC) directly supports 12th Air Force (12 AF) Air Forces Southern (AFSOUTH) in planning and executing mission tasks associated with the roles and responsibilities of USSOUTHCOM's designated Combined Force Air Component Commander (CFACC). The CFACC's task includes developing the architecture supporting the USSOUTHCOM Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) to maintain battlespace awareness in a multi-domain environment.
