Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of the Army, through the MICC-Fort Belvoir, is seeking a Women-Owned Small Business to provide solid waste management services at Arlington National Cemetery in Fort Myer, Virginia. The contractor will manage municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, scrap metal, and single-stream recycling, which includes providing all labor, equipment, and materials, as well as supporting waste infrastructure relocation for the Southern Expansion project. The contract is structured as a firm-fixed-price award valued up to $47 million, consisting of a 15-day phase-in period starting November 1, 2026, an 11.5-month base period, and four consecutive 12-month option years extending performance through October 31, 2031.
