The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, through its MRPBS office in Minneapolis, is seeking a small-business contract to repair fume hoods at the National Science Laboratory-Blakely in support of aflatoxin testing for nuts and nut products. The contractor will repair eleven hoods by disconnecting and removing existing electrical and exhaust components, installing new PVC flex connectors and exhaust stacks, reconnecting fan motors, replacing fume hood alarms and lights, and testing and calibrating each hood. The work must restore proper hood operation, support laboratory safety, and comply with OSHA testing requirements and site security rules, with performance in Blakely, Georgia. This is Solicitation 12639526Q0134 under a total small business set-aside, with quotes due June 5, 2026 at 1 p.m. ET and a site visit scheduled for May 20, 2026.
