The Federal Highway Administration is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing technical support services for the Office of Safety and Operations Research & Development at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, Virginia. The selected contractor will support and conduct research to identify crash-causing factors and develop safety treatments, countermeasures, and operational strategies across program areas like safety culture, data science, human factors, and intelligent transportation systems. This requirement builds on five existing indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts that are expiring in September 2027 and have awarded approximately $23 million across 44 task orders since March 2022.
