J--PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) SYSTEMS

The Department of Energy, specifically the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Eaton Corporation for preventive maintenance services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems in the Upper Great Plains Region, particularly for the South Dakota Maintenance Office in Watertown. The procurement is critical as Eaton Corporation is the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the UPS units, ensuring compliance with operational mandates and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards, which are essential for maintaining reliable backup power.
