USFS R6 Trimble GNSS Equipment
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Forest Service, through USDA-FS, CSA Northwest 1, is seeking a sole-source acquisition of Trimble GNSS survey equipment to replace aging GPS and field data collection systems used by USFS survey teams. The requirement covers 8 GNSS receivers, 6 data collectors or controllers, 6 software packages, and related accessories, with full integration into existing Trimble R12/R980 equipment and Trimble Access software. The equipment must meet survey-grade technical needs including multi-constellation tracking, UHF radio correction capability, internal data logging, Bluetooth connectivity, durability, and CIO TA approval considerations, with performance tied to USFS lands zones in Vancouver and Colville, Washington.
