This Sources Sought announcement is for market research and advanced planning regarding the Crow Creek Substation Transformer Replacement project in Montana. The project involves manufacturing, delivering, placing, erecting, and field testing one 2,500 kVA, 65-degree C rise, three-phase, fluid-filled, outdoor, step-down transformer. Key components include the transformer's specifications (e.g., 102 kV high side, 4.16 kV low side, FR3 insulating fluid) and installation during an outage between October and April. The government seeks capability statements from firms of any size with specialized knowledge and experience for projects estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Firms must provide company information, business size, capabilities, examples with ester-filled transformers, manufacturer details, estimated delivery time, bonding levels, Project Labor Agreement experience (if applicable), and for large businesses, their ability to meet small business subcontracting goals.
