The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), specifically the Foreign Agriculture Services (FAS), is seeking sources for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Global Maximum Residue Levels (MRL) Database. This initiative aims to provide on-demand access to updated MRL information for agricultural products, particularly specialty crops, which is crucial for ensuring compliance with varying international trade standards and avoiding disruptions due to non-compliance. The contractor will be responsible for creating a user-friendly web-based database that includes data on over 1,000 chemicals, 900 commodities, and 150 markets, with updates required within 14 days of any changes. Interested parties must submit their responses to the Request for Information (RFI) by January 17, 2025, to William Walton at william.walton@usda.gov, with the contract period anticipated from August 13, 2025, to August 12, 2030.
