MH-139 Cabin Reconfiguration RFI
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Air Force’s AFLCMC MH-139A Program Office is conducting a sources sought RFI for market research on a modified cabin seating configuration for the MH-139A helicopter. The effort seeks design, integration, and testing support for a multi-configurable seating system that can preserve the current layout as an option while improving mission effectiveness, crew situational awareness, and safety. The required solution should accommodate eight Security Forces members, two Special Mission Aviators, and two pilots, maintain compatibility with existing aircraft subsystems, allow reconfiguration in one hour or less, maximize reuse of existing hardware and mounting points, and support airworthiness and FAA-approved STC planning. Responses are limited to 15 pages, must clearly mark proprietary content, and prospective contractors must be registered in SAM; primary contacts are Jeremy Perry and Rachael Keeton.
