Auto Droplet Generator
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, is seeking an Auto Droplet Generator for the Diabetes Molecular Genetics Section of the Phoenix Epidemiology and Clinical Research Branch. The acquired system must automate droplet generation for droplet digital polymerase chain reaction workflows to reduce hands-on processing time and improve throughput and consistency across pancreatic islet experiments. This equipment will replace a manual droplet generator to streamline the preparation of 96-well plates and support the study of molecular pathways associated with type 2 diabetes. Place of performance for this requirement is Bethesda, Maryland. Organizations interested in this opportunity may contact Darin Mahkee at mahkeed@nih.gov.
