The Department of Commerce’s NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, Alaska Fisheries Science Center, is seeking sources for a Thermo Scientific Isolink CN Combustion Elemental Analyzer or equivalent to support its nutritional ecology laboratory and stable isotope analysis work. The requirement is to furnish and deliver an elemental analyzer system that can interface with an existing Thermo Scientific Delta V Advantage Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer and support percent protein determination and analysis of fish, plankton, marine mammal, and other tissue samples. Key technical characteristics include compatibility with Thermo Scientific Isodat software and ConFlo IV dilution control, helium carrier gas at a 90–110 mL/min flow rate, a two-column combustion and reduction configuration, an autosampler, oxidation and reduction reactors, a GC column and oven, flash combustion, and automatic leak-checking capability. Delivery is needed no later than 15-Sep-2026 to the NMFS ABL Research Facility in Juneau, Alaska, and responses to the sources sought notice are due by email to Jason Jenks no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Jun 4, 2026.
