Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is seeking to renew its contract for the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) software licenses through a sole source award to Tecolote Research, Inc. This procurement aims to provide essential software licenses and training that support the development of program lifecycle cost estimates (PLCCEs), which are critical for effective resource allocation within the agency. The ACEIT suite is recognized as an industry standard tool that streamlines the cost estimation process, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency of CBP's Air and Marine Operations (AMO). The anticipated contract period is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, with options for two additional years through March 31, 2028.
