Very High Cycle Fatigue and Supplementary High Cycle Fatigue Testing of Additive Alloys

NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to procure Very High Cycle Fatigue and Supplementary High Cycle Fatigue Testing of Additive Alloys, with the intention to issue a sole source contract to the University of Toledo. The selected vendor will be responsible for extensive mechanical testing, including ultrasonic fatigue (USF) testing at temperatures up to 1000°C and high cycle fatigue (HCF) testing on specific NASA ODS alloys, with a total of 270 USF specimens and 84 HCF specimens to be tested over a 36-month performance period. This testing is critical for advancing the understanding and application of additively manufactured alloys in aerospace contexts.
