48--ACTUATOR-ELECTRO ME, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech, intends to sole-source a contract for the repair and modification of an electro-mechanical actuator. This procurement requires the contractor to service one unit under National Stock Number 7H-4810-016040023 and Technical Data Package version 006. Because the government does not own the technical data or rights required to contract with additional sources, and because reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical, the acquisition will be negotiated with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Delivery will be designated as FOB Origin, and interested parties must submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations within 45 days of the notice publication to Joshua Eshleman at joshua.j.eshleman.civ@us.navy.mil.
