Develop and deploy software to enable efficient access to and analysis of NASA model data
Contract Opportunity Analysis
NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to develop and deploy software that facilitates efficient access to and analysis of NASA model data, specifically targeting the MERRA-21C dataset. The project aims to support NASA's Open Science initiative by creating a cloud-native data platform at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), which will enable scalable access to large climate datasets through the Earthmover platform. Key deliverables include the ingestion and conversion of data to Analysis-Ready Cloud Optimized (ARCO) formats, the development of dynamic regridding and aggregation services, and the configuration of a public-facing Flux API for seamless data access. Interested organizations must submit their capabilities and qualifications to the primary contact, Monica Wilson, by 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on March 13, 2026, to be considered for this sole source contract with Earthmover PBC.
