C.O.R.D.

The Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg office is seeking a contractor to repair and refurbish C.O.R.D., a special emphasis item used in a critical shipboard system. The work calls for teardown, evaluation, inspection, and full repair of the item to a like-new or “A” condition, with traceability, certification, radiography, welding, and other quality assurance controls tied to the referenced drawings and specifications. It is a Level 1 repair with classified document access requirements, source inspection, and past performance considered in evaluation, and the resulting award will be a DPAS DO-rated order issued under emergency acquisition flexibilities. Quotations must be submitted as not-to-exceed pricing or firm fixed price, include a beyond repair/beyond economic repair price and an approximate new-item cost if available, exclude shipping costs, and final delivery is due on or before 110 days after the effective date of the contract.
