Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Federal Highway Administration within the Department of Transportation is seeking interest for a future small business set-aside contract for the AZ BL COLO 7528(1) Burro Creek Road project near Kingman, Arizona. The work is a 3R resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation effort on about 1.3 miles of roadway that includes full depth reclamation, asphalt concrete paving, drainage upgrades, earthwork and slope stabilization, and traffic control and signage. The project also includes an option for bridge-related sedimentation and undercutting repairs and boulder placement, and the solicitation emphasizes prior prime-contractor experience on similar road projects in national forest, park, BLM, monument, or other natural resource sensitive areas, along with required FDR, asphalt paving, and culvert installation experience.
