Notice of Intent to Sole Source Auto Tester, Ripcord Release

The Department of the Navy’s Commander Fleet Readiness Centers Procurement Group is planning a sole-source purchase order for repair and calibration services for the Auto Tester, Ripcord Release, for the Aviation Support Equipment activity in Solomons, Maryland. The work covers inspection, repair, and/or calibration of end item part number 711-07153, NSN 1670-01-508-8838, to restore units to fully operational Ready for Issue condition. Repairs are to use original manufactured replacement parts, and the requirement is described as work that cannot be accomplished at Navy maintenance activities, with FXC Corporation identified as the only known qualified source. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but responsible sources may submit a capability statement within five calendar days after publication for consideration in determining whether to compete the requirement.
