DARPA "Venture Horizons" Request for Information
Contract Opportunity Analysis
DARPA, within the Department of Defense, is seeking input through the Venture Horizons Request for Information to identify top-tier investors that could provide non-adversarial capital and help advance DARPA technologies. The initiative is designed to connect investors with DARPA program managers, subject matter experts, and research performers to support commercialization and continued investment in breakthrough defense technologies. Respondents are asked to provide information on investment goals, capacity, track record, domain expertise, fund characteristics, and their ability to work across DARPA’s technical offices, including certification that their capital is not from adversarial sources. This is a planning-only RFI for family offices, angel investors, venture capital, corporate venture capital, and private equity or buyout firms, with performance associated with Arlington, Virginia. Submissions are due June 15, 2026, are limited to 25 pages, must include the response spreadsheet and a capabilities presentation, and additional access is available through SAM.gov or by email to DARPAVentureHorizons@darpa.mil.
