Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, within the Department of Health and Human Services, is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole-source service contract for the Vantera Nuclear Magnetic Resonance analyzer used for patient care testing in the Clinical Center Department of Laboratory Medicine. The work is a one-year fixed-price service and support contract for the analyzer, which is used for lipoprotein particle quantification and related measurements. LabCorp is identified as the sole vendor able to provide service and support for this instrument, and the acquisition is being handled under FAR Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures as a noncompetitive action.
