The work requires cutting and piling Pinyon Pine and Juniper material, including live trees up to 6 inches DBH and dead standing trees up to 12 inches DBH, while protecting cultural resources, sensitive plants, and other environmental constraints. The project area is in Montrose and Ouray Counties and includes designated travel routes and no-piling areas, with performance required during a 30-day window between September 1 and October 13, 2026. Contractors must be registered in SAM and submit quotes by email by June 15, 2026, with payment made upon acceptance of the full 200-acre project.
