The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, is conducting market research for ultra-low freezer maintenance services at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The work covers performance-based preventive and corrective maintenance for 20 government-owned -80°C freezers supporting the Research Service. The contractor is expected to provide labor, travel, tools, test equipment, PPE, calibration standards, and supplies, with semiannual preventive maintenance, temperature calibration within manufacturer specifications or ±1°C, refrigerant leak checks, and electrical and mechanical inspections. Performance is planned for the Kansas City VAMC Research Freedom Building on a base year plus four option years, with dates to be determined.
