The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contract Office 22 for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, is conducting a sources sought RFI for an automated liquid handling system to support biospecimen research workflows. The contractor would provide the equipment, software, installation, and required documentation needed to automate aliquoting of biospecimens from source tubes into microplates for research distribution. The requested system must meet detailed performance characteristics, including eight independent pipetting channels, 0.5 uL to 1,000 uL volume capability, non-contact dispensing, positive displacement tips, camera or vision verification, API integration, and compatibility with diverse liquids, and it will be accepted through demonstration of those characteristics; the government will provide laboratory space, power, and network access, while installation coordination and standard lab security apply.
