update on existing contract

The Smithsonian Institution, on behalf of the Smithsonian Associates, intends to extend its existing sole-source contract with Kodi Holdings to continue printing, shipping, and mailing its monthly program guide. The contractor must reliably produce and mail the monthly four-color Associate publication to over 25,000 households on strict deadlines to prevent revenue disruption from ticket sales. This critical service is performed in Washington, District of Columbia, with the Smithsonian planning to re-compete the requirement in fiscal year 2027.
