The Mission Installation Contracting Command–Fort Carson, on behalf of the Department of the Army, is seeking a firm-fixed-price, total small business set-aside contract to replace ABSOLYTE VRLA battery cells in Building 1014 at Fort Carson, Colorado. The work includes furnishing and installing 24 new VRLA battery cells and related components, removing the existing battery cells, reconnecting existing alarm/control cabling, reinstalling Ni-Cad Neutra Mat as required, and recycling the old batteries. The replacement batteries must be new and not refurbished or renewed, match the required brand and amp-hour capacity, and maintain 54 volts DC; the effort also carries security and access requirements, a required quality control plan, and submission through WAWF. The period of performance runs from September 1, 2026, to December 1, 2026, with a recommended site visit on May 18, 2026 and a solicitation close date of May 22, 2026.
