The Defense Logistics Agency Land Warren, in coordination with the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential sources for a Power Supply circuit card. This critical component, which converts vehicle prime power into an isolated and regulated 26Vrms 400Hz output, is used in the Mission Control Unit of the M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tank. The government is planning a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract to procure approximately 244 units of this part. Because the government lacks the necessary data rights for competitive procurement, interested contractors must qualify as an approved source of supply through the TACOM Source Approval Program, which includes vehicle-level qualification testing at the contractor's own expense.
