Intent to Sole Source Shredder Maintenance

This Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) announces the Department of the Air Force's intent to award a sole-source contract to GovSmart, Inc. for the FY26 Annual Shredder Maintenance program at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) in Massachusetts. Under the proposed contract, GovSmart, Inc. will provide necessary materials, equipment, transportation, and labor to perform Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI) and emergency repair services on existing Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) Disintegrators (Model 23/3). Classified under NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance), this acquisition is set aside as "Other Than Full and Open Competition" under the authority of FAR 6.103-1. Although the Government intends to negotiate solely with GovSmart, Inc., interested parties may submit capability statements to demonstrate their qualifications. Responses must be emailed to Lt Luis Cruz and Anthony Coit no later than August 25, 2026.
