The Federal Aviation Administration’s William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace is seeking a sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to continue essential colocation and connectivity services with Equinix, Inc. The contractor will provide all labor, material, and facilities for data center colocation and interconnection services supporting the FAA Office of Information & Technology’s Cloud & Hosting Services Division. The work is tied to secure, reliable computing infrastructure for FAA cloud services, with transition to another provider complicated by the need for new telecommunications lines, equipment installation, testing, security authorization, and security risk assessments; the intended period of performance is five years and the place of performance is in the United States.
