The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16, intends to award a sole-source contract to Cepheid for preventive maintenance and repair of the Cepheid GeneXpert System at the Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System in Biloxi, Mississippi. The work covers maintenance and repair services for the system and must be completed in accordance with the statement of work and schedule. The procurement is being pursued under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) with Cepheid as the only identified source, and any interested vendor must demonstrate capability and include a letter of authorization from the OEM.
