The Department of Defense, on behalf of the Illinois Air National Guard 126th Air Refueling Wing, is seeking commercial services to restore and repair multiple planter beds at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The scope of work requires the contractor to restore approximately 14,511 square feet of planter beds, which includes removing and disposing of 1,664 linear feet of rusted metal lining, excavating existing decorative rock and weed barriers, and installing new geotextile weed barriers and corrosion-resistant steel liners. This firm-fixed-price contract has an estimated performance period of 90 calendar days and will be evaluated using a Best Value Tradeoff process based on technical capability, past performance, and price.
